‘This is the worst summer in recent memory’ Deadly and extreme heat leading to dangerous conditions

The summer of 2023 began with never seen before extreme heat across the United States and Europe. In America, close to 110 million people are still under extreme heat warnings, according to the National Weather Service.

“El Niño conditions are present and are expected to gradually strengthen into the Northern Hemisphere winter 2023-24,” the National Weather Service reported. Heatwaves are amongst the deadliest natural hazards with thousands of people dying from heat-related causes each year.

The weekend of July 15-16 was the hottest weekend recorded. Phoenix, Arizona, had its 16th consecutive day of temperatures reaching 110 degrees and higher on July 15. As reported on the NBC News website, Dr. Frank LoVecchio, an emergency medicine physician with Valleywise Health Hospital, said the heat is straining local hospitals.

“This is the worst summer in recent memory,” he said. “I’ve been working here since 1996, this same hospital, and this is one of the worst summers because we’ve had so many days in a row this super warm weather.”

“We’re overcrowded with patients,” Dr. LoVecchio said, adding that 20 percent of patients are there for something heat-related. “We’re using overflow.”

Ice pools are prepared on stretchers by medical staff members for the inevitable next patient who needs an immediate cooling-down. Dr. LoVecchio said that some patients have come in with internal temperatures of 107 and that they can sometimes be saved. The one who was rushed in with an internal temp of 110 could not.

The Phoenix Fire Department has been feeling the strain, too. No strangers to heat, Arizona firefighters take ice baths after particularly grueling calls. Taking IVs in coolers filled with ice, they’ve been responding to an uptick of the same heat-related calls that bring more patients to the hospital, including a man who had third-degree burns on his body from lying on the asphalt. The firefighters believe the man was among those in the city experiencing homelessness—the most vulnerable population in the heat wave.

Considered to be the hottest place on earth, Death Valley National Park, located along part of central California’s border with Nevada, reached 128 degrees on July 16.

While weather and climate scientists attribute what is happening to human-caused climate change due to the burning of coal, oil and natural gases which are heating the planet, the so-called experts of this world are ignoring one critical and divine fact.

For decades, the Most Honorable Elijah Muhammad, the Eternal Leader of the Nation of Islam, warned the nations of the Earth, specifically America, that the wrath of Allah (God) is imminent due to her wickedness perpetrated against the Black and Indigenous man and woman of America.

The Honorable Elijah Muhammad taught that God would use the forces of nature to pummel and punish America. He also taught that by ignoring Divine Guidance that Whites, Blacks and others would not escape these forces of nature.

“The four (4) Great Judgments that Allah (God) promises to destroy America with are now coming upon her … hail, snow, drought, earthquake. Allah (God) has reserved His treasures of snow and ice to be used against the wicked country America in the day of battle and war. These are some of Allah’s (God’s) weapons, the storms that we see going on,” the Most Honorable Elijah Muhammad warned in his book, “The Fall of America.”

His top student and National Representative, the Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan, like his teacher, warns of God’s Divine Judgment and also provides much-needed guidance for spiritual, mental and physical survival in these times.

“We are witnessing terrifying disasters afflicting the people of the world and these disasters are now afflicting the United States of America. Believing that these prophesies will be fulfilled, we felt that it is our duty to learn as much as we can, so that we can return to the United States and prepare documents on disaster preparedness, and in conjunction with local, state and federal government, do all we can to prepare the American people, and our people in particular, for coming disasters,” the Minister explained in a 2006 message during a visit with a delegation to the island nation of Cuba. The delegation was there to study and learn about disaster preparedness.

The Union of Concerned Scientists, which is tracking national extreme weather data, has flagged that more than half of Americans have faced an extreme weather alert in the past several weeks alone. About 11 percent of heat alerts during that period had a climate signal linking the weather to global heating.

Local officials and the National Weather Service have asked people in Texas to take precautions against heat stroke and heat exhaustion. The record-breaking heatwave is expected to worsen and expand in the coming days, with heat indexes forecasted to surpass 110 degrees Fahrenheit.

“Oppressive and persistent heat will become increasingly dangerous and potentially deadly in south and south-central Texas, especially to people repeatedly exposed for long durations. Many locations in those parts of Texas have already experienced a yearly record number of hours of dangerously high heat index readings,” the National Weather Service said.

Victor Ramos, 67, was found in his home in southwest Houston, which did not have air conditioning. He died on June 24 in the hospital. Mr. Ramos’ sister Karla told local Houston news outlet KHOU that her brother could not afford to fix his broken air conditioning unit since he was let go from his job in March.

In nearby Pearland, Texas, Felipe Pascaul, 46, also died from the heat on June 16. Mr. Pascaul was pouring concrete on a construction job site when he went into cardiac arrest and collapsed. He was taken to a hospital but did not survive.

Amid a dangerous heatwave that has brought blistering temperatures across the state, Texas Governor Greg Abbott signed a recent law eliminating local rules requiring water breaks for workers. The measure, which will take effect later this year, will nullify ordinances enacted by Austin and Dallas that mandate 10-minute breaks for construction workers every four hours. It also prevents any other local governments from passing similar worker protections.

Just days after the governor ratified the law, officials said a 35-year-old utility lineman working to restore power in Marshall, Texas, died after experiencing symptoms of heat illness. The heat index which takes into account both the temperature and humidity, was 100 degrees while he was working.

“In the midst of a record-setting heatwave, I could not think of a worse time for this governor or any elected official who has any, any kind of compassion, to do this,” said David Cruz, the communications director for League of United Latin American Citizens National (Lulac), a Latino civil rights group. “This administration is incrementally trying to move us backwards into a dark time in this nation. When plantation owners and agrarian mentalities prevailed,” he said, according to theguardian.com.

Six out of every 10 construction workers in Texas are Latino, and labor advocates say, that the law will hurt Latino and Black communities that are already disproportionately affected by extreme heat.

Local protections are crucial, advocates say, because the federal Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) does not have a national heat protection standard.

Letter from Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan

Student Ishmael Muhammad

[Editor’s Note: The following remarks were delivered by Student Minister Ishmael Muhammad, National Assistant to the Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan on Sunday, July 16, 2023, from Mosque Maryam in Chicago on the passing of Student Minister Jabril Muhammad, a longtime companion, aid and supreme witness to the Most Honorable Elijah Muhammad and Minister Farrakhan. The Final Call will pay honor and tribute to the life and legacy of this Beloved and Dedicated Servant of Allah (God) in an upcoming issue. May Allah Bless us all.]

It is with great sadness that I announced that we lost Brother Student Minister Jabril Muhammad, formally Brother Bernard Cushmeer, May Allah Be Pleased. We’re not here forever but that brother lived his life in total dedication to the Honorable Elijah Muhammad. He has left us a treasure trove of knowledge, all bearing witness to the Honorable Elijah Muhammad and the Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan.

Brother Jabril Muhammad was named “Jabril” by the Minister from Bernard because he represented the Angel Jabril that visited Prophet Muhammad, Peace be upon him. Those of you who are familiar with the history, Prophet Muhammad would go to himself in a cave and he was agonizing and pained over the condition of his people. And I believe … it was the western mountain right there in Mecca, Arabia, which we visited and climbed. And in a cave, where he would often sit and it looks over the valley of Mecca, the angel visited him. Not a spook, not a man with wings, but a human being. And the first words that the Angel Jabril gave to Prophet Muhammad, Peace be upon him—which is found in the 96th chapter (of the Holy Qur’an) were these words: “Read (“Iqra”), Read in the name of thy Lord Who creates.

Critics say fallout in France after Black teen’s death shines spotlight on hidden generations of systemic racism in Europe
By Brian E. Muhammad, Staff Writer
- July 11, 2023

Protesters in Paris, France, have crossed the proverbial Rubicon line of no return in anger triggered by the police killing of 17-year-old Nahel Merzouk, a French teen of Algerian descent, during a traffic stop that turned deadly. However, with a history of anti-immigrant sentiment, observers say perhaps it was France that crossed its point of no return because of unchecked racism and marginalization of Black and Brown communities.

“I think France has an ideological problem,” said Dr. Gerald Horne, author and professor of history at the University of Houston. “What I mean by that is, as a result of the French Revolution [in] 1789, this idea took flight that France had developed a so-called colorblind society,” he added.

Critics say the doctrine of “colorblind universalism” has hidden generations of systemic racism. The phrase “colorblind” is oftentimes invoked in the United States, noted the historian. But France takes it to an extreme in the sense that the state tries to avoid collecting statistics that might indicate French citizens of African descent are discriminated against. “And if you don’t count something,” stated Dr. Horne, “that means it doesn’t count.”

In interviews, French people of African descent said they feel doubly persecuted because of this misnomer that says they don’t face racism waxes against the fact that they do face racism, reasoned Dr. Horne. “And that makes it very difficult to confront,” he added.

Studies have demonstrated broad racial bias in French policing targeting Arab and Black people in particular. In 2020, France’s own human rights ombudsperson found that young men racialized as Arab or Black are 20 times more likely to be profiled and stopped by police.

The European Commission against Racism and Intolerance has warned of racial discrimination perpetrated by French police.

The UN rights office said it was time for France to reckon with its history of racism in policing.

“This is a moment for the country to seriously address the deep issues of racism and discrimination in law enforcement,” said Ravina Shamdasani, spokesperson for the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights, in a June 30 press briefing.

Nahel’s mother Mounia M. told France 5 television, she was angry at the shooter-officer, but not at the police in general. “He saw a little Arab-looking kid; he wanted to take his life,” she said.

Reacting to Nahel’s death, days of mayhem engulfed Paris and other areas with thousands arrested in a “David versus Goliath” scenario. Protesters were met with an army of 45,000 police unleashed by the government and armed with flash-balls, grenades and grenade launchers, water cannons, tear gas, t-batons, and firearms.

There were solidarity protests in the French Caribbean territories of Martinique, Guadeloupe and French Guiana, as well in Reunion, an island territory of France off the coast of East Africa.

The worst violence so far was in French Guiana, where authorities said police officers came under fire and a stray bullet killed a 54-year-old government worker on June 29 in the capital, Cayenne, reported AP.

Speaking to The Final Call from Guadeloupe, Pascal Archimede, a journalist with the Black-owned, Paris-based NOFI Media said the people who rose identified with the injustices in France. “Because you know, we also had different episodes that happened with the French government, and we don’t really get along with France,” Mr. Archimede said.

“We don’t really get along because we’ve got the feeling sometimes that we are the forgotten population of France … a second-hand citizen,” he said.

Mr. Archimede previously lived in France for 24 years before returning to his native Guadeloupe two years ago.

During unrests in France, businesses, schools and libraries were scorched. “It was a way for them to show their discontent,” Mr. Archimede said. “I’m not saying what they’re doing is good,” but “to them a way to express their discontent.” There is a generation of youth who are dissatisfied with France. “There is that kind of pressure or tension because those young people don’t feel like being French or being accepted as French,” he said.

The rage of backlash on the streets was birthed from years of frustration over a myriad of issues stemming from unabated racism, discrimination, and marginalization.

“Generations of African-French children are without education, excluded … they are clearly in an open war with the police specifically because of targeting,” said Darikatine X, a member of The Nation of Islam Study Group in Paris.

She told The Final Call via WhatsApp they were raised since childhood in an “illusion” that they could not prosper as a community based on race and religion. With a worsening economic situation in France, there is an awakening of people to realize the truth.

“This is a wakeup call for all of those who thought that France was an exception,” she stated. “We really though that!” and believed France was a “color-blind country.”

Generally, people have lost trust in the government, Darikatine X said.

A sordid history of bloodshed

Besides Guadeloupe, Martinique, and Réunion Island, France has a blood-stained history of colonialism, slavery and violence against people racialized as non-White in Haiti, North and West Africa and in Asia.

France ruthlessly repressed Algerian people in more than 100 years of colonization before its yoke was broken in the 1950s in a liberation struggle that killed upward of 1.5 million Algerians.

The current history of France’s anti-Black/Brown enmity runs deep, explained political analyst Jemima Pierre, of the Black Alliance for Peace. When France lost in Haiti, it invaded Algeria in North Africa and stayed there until the 1950s, she said.

“There’s that brutal, brutal, brutal history with North Africans in particular,” Ms. Pierre said. “So, it’s interesting it is this young Algerian kid that got shot.”

Ms. Pierre compared the uprisings to the George Floyd crisis in the U.S. in 2020. The police murder of Mr. Floyd ignited global outrage and protests. “They’ve been dealing with that for so long and this is the straw that got everybody like, this is it, we’re not having any more,” she said. “It’s the straw that broke the camel’s back.”

Initially citing police and undisclosed police sources, the French media described the June 27 killing as self-defense, claiming Nahel was shot after plowing his car toward officers to evade the traffic stop. But a viral video showed the cops were not in danger and an officer, identified as “Florian M” shooting point blank into the car, as Nahel drove off and slammed into barriers on Nelson Mandela Square. The officer was placed in prison on voluntary homicide charges after Pascal Prache, the Nanterre prosecutor of the area of the killing, determined “legal conditions for using the weapon” were “not met.”

Minorities living in poorer areas argue a young White man would never have been shot like that. The killing exposed cracks in the social veneer of France, which has long denied accusations of systemic bigotry. The killing exhibited the reality of a racist nation that deceitfully pushes “liberté, égalité, fraternité,” meaning “liberty, equality, fraternity,” as its national motto, say analysts.

Social, political dynamics of discrimination

Because of the landscape of France, people don’t realize that the U.S. has “so-called inner cities” which are “so-called ghettos,” and France has banlieues, “which are outer cities,” explained Ms. Pierre.

The U.S. poor are in the middle of cities, but France exercises a system of “out of sight, out of mind,” keeping the poor in the outlying suburbs, she said. These are French people who bear the brunt of racism and state violence.

Ms. Pierre told The Final Call that France benefitted from its “colorblind” policy by outlawing the category of race. The U.S., for example, collects racial data on what percentage of the population is Black or otherwise. France maintains it has no need for such data as a Republic that’s colorblind. “But their racism is not colorblind,” argues Ms. Pierre.

Critics contend the policy is tricknology, suggesting without actual facts and figures, they cannot do justice nor reparations for the marginalized.

That’s how France gets away with it “when in reality they’re racist as hell,” Ms. Pierre said.

Europe pretends at racial democracy and invests heavily to create this image. However, the troubles facing France and Europe represent the fall of White world power. With the European economy failing, war between Russia and Ukraine exacerbating the fall, it is catching it on all sides.

Amid the confusion is the growth of White rightwing ideologies who in times of economic downturn doubles down against Black and Brown people. This anti-immigrant, Black and Arab element is throughout Europe.

“Scratch a European liberal and you will find a fascist,” Ms. Pierre said. “You see that coming out now, going against Black and Brown folks.” She sees the troubles besetting Europe as karma for its history of violating Black life. “It’s just chickens coming home to roost and it’s about time,” she said.

In 2022 in the seaside town of Civitanova Marche, in Italy, the beating death of disabled Nigerian street vendor Alika Ogorchukwu by a White man was one of many racial incidents reported in that country, reported the BBC.

“In 2016 another Nigerian man, Emmanuel Chidi Namdi, was killed after defending his wife from racist abuse in the town of Fermo in central Italy. Two years later, a far-right extremist shot six African migrants in a drive-by attack in a town about 25km (15.5 miles) from where Mr Ogorchukwu was killed. When the police arrested him, he was wrapped in the Italian flag shouting ‘Viva l’Italia,’ telling police he wanted to ‘kill them all,’” reported bbc.com

According to the website of the group ENAR, “People of African descent experience widespread racism and discrimination across the EU and in all areas of life, including employment, education, policing and the criminal justice system. Recognizing and addressing Afrophobia as a specific form of racism that affects people of African descent and Black Europeans is essential to ensure their inclusion in Europe.”

According to the group’s website, ENAR is a pan-European anti-racism network.

Europe in a time of transition

The crisis in Europe signifies a time of reckoning and Divine judgment on the White world, warns the Most Honorable Elijah Muhammad and His student, the Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan of the Nation of Islam. They warn from the scriptures that “every nation has a term” and a day when every man must return to his own nation.

“With the end of the rule of the white race over the Black people of earth in sight—face to face—we have to deal with each other according to the actual facts which exist between the two nations (Black and White),” Mr. Muhammad wrote in an article published in His illuminating book, “The Fall of America.”

“With the nature and desire of the White race to continue their rule and subjection of the darker people even though the White man recognizes these facts, he will continue to try holding onto his rule; his subjection; his thinking of what he has acquired under such rule—that which is his and he cannot give up the prey—his concession—the merchandise which he has exploited out from under the noses and eyes of the real owners (Black man),” wrote Mr. Muhammad.

Mr. Muhammad wrote although the Europeans are willing to shed their own blood and others to hold onto that which he calls his legal possessions, the spirit aroused in the Black man says, “No!” and that the continent and what is on and under its surface belongs to him and his people (the Black nation).

“Quoting Bible prophecy concerning the separation of nations, again today, as it was before: ‘Every man must go to his own.’ This is the clearest and most direct justice that God and man could agree upon,” Mr. Muhammad further wrote. “The white man cannot live in luxury unless he has the Black man and his place of possession in subjection of his will. But, as I repeatedly say in this paper and in all of my writings, ‘You cannot make God and His prophets liars,’ nor can we reverse the time of their prediction in which these things would take place. So the time has come,” Mr. Muhammad said.

“This is nothing but justice; that we have possession of what is our own,” He added.

Master W. Fard Muhammad and Uncovering The Mystery God of Satan

By Demetric Muhammad, Guest Columnist
- July 4, 2023

“Mr. Yakub taught his people to contend with us over the reality of God by asking us of the whereabouts of that first (God); one who created the heavens and the earth, and that, Yakub said, we cannot do.”—Most Hon. Elijah Muhammad, June 21, 1958

There are many people, both religious and non-religious, who have, over the years, seen fit to act as mockers, seeking to malign and ridicule the theology of the Nation of Islam. I maintain, however, that the ministry of the Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan during the re-building of the Nation of Islam has meant the death knell to the respite these mockers have seemed to enjoy!

We celebrate this year, in 2023, the 93rd anniversary of the coming of Allah (God), Who appeared to us in the person of Master W. Fard Muhammad. The Most Hon. Elijah Muhammad has taught that He came to declare the Black man and woman of America to be independent and free from the wicked authority of the White rulers of America.

Master Fard Muhammad

As America was celebrating her independence from England, He appeared, as the scriptures foretold, as a “thief in the night” to “plunder the goods of the strong man” and steal away Black people from the power and dominion of the American White man.

The Significance of July 4, 1930

According to the Most Honorable Elijah Muhammad, writing in his illuminating article inside of the Muhammad Speaks newspaper’s July 11, 1969, edition, the Black man and woman of America have our own reason for celebrating July 4th. He writes in an article entitled “Independence Day” the following:

“Let us take a look again at our own Black independence and how it came on this same day of the 4th of July at the Coming of Allah (God) in the Person of Master Fard Muhammad, to Whom Praises are due forever, on July 4, 1930. The Significance of His Coming to us, on the Independence Day of the white man, is very great. It is their day of great rejoicing. As with former peoples and their governments, their destruction took place when they were at the height of their rejoicing.

The 4th of July is the Day of rejoicing of the white man over his opponents, for the Western Hemisphere. He wrote his Constitution for his own white people, not for his Black slave. Allah (God) visited the Black slave first for, he is more in need of help to enjoy freedom of self. Since, Allah (God) Came for the purpose of Bringing self-independence to the Black slave, then His Going Forth is with Justice (Bible, Rev.:19-11th).

To show, Allah’s (God’s) Greatness and Power over the slave-master and his people, now Allah (God) attacks them at the height of their civilization and at the greatness of their power and strength, on the 4th of July while they worship the greatness of their accomplishments and the Black slave is sitting at his feet … As it was with Nebuchadnezzar and as it was with Pharaoh; the same is being repeated today. This is the significance of Allah’s (God’s) Coming on the 4th of July.”

Statue of Plato

Students of history will appreciate His choice of one of the holidays celebrated by the White ruling class of America. For it was during the Black Holocaust’s period of chattel slavery that another cherished holiday was frequently experienced within a context of the threat of slave rebellions.

Authors Shauna Bigham and Robert E. May write in their excellent work The Time O’ All Times? Masters, Slaves, and Christmas in the Old South the following:

“Although the only consequential southern slave revolt between the War of 1812 and the Civil War, Nat Turner’s 1831 uprising in Southampton County, Virginia, was a summertime affair, a high proportion of rumored slave plots involved Christmas holidays. Many slave-owning families, as a result, passed some of their Christmases in dread of slave insurrection.’”

Fredrick Douglass spoke of the potential for liberation during the White man’s holidays when he wrote:

“These holidays serve as conductors, or safety valves, to carry off the rebellious spirit of enslaved humanity… When a slave was drunk, the slaveholder had no fear that he would plan an insurrection; no fear that he would escape to the north. It was the sober, thinking slave who was dangerous, and needed the vigilance of his master to keep him a slave.”

To liberate the Black man and woman away from the grip of our former slave masters and their children, Master W. Fard Muhammad, hereafter referred to as The Saviour, attacked the root of the slave mind and thinking. He uprooted the slave theology, the belief that God is White and the devil is Black.

He uprooted the slave theology, the belief that God is a spirit and not a man. Most observers of the plight and sojourn of the Black people of America have overlooked the theological underpinning of that which became known as the “peculiar institution.” American chattel slavery is often portrayed as achieving its purpose through the sheer force of “White power” and its brutality.

However, the Most Honorable Elijah Muhammad said that The Saviour taught him that the Caucasian White man was given by his father Yacub, the wisdom of “how to master the original Black man.”

And close examination of that which has been the fuel for the “peculiar institution” of perpetual slavery, that the Black man and woman have suffered inside of, reveals that it has been our system of beliefs that have been the invisible chains that have kept us tethered to our oppressor and his society.

Scripture vs. Philosophy

The current concept of God held by mainstream Jews, Christians and Muslims does not originate in the scriptures of the Torah, Gospel and Holy Qur’an, but labors under the Satanic influence of Greek Philosophy. The God described and depicted in the Judeo-Christian and Islamic scriptures is a divine man, a divine human being.

Carl W. Griffin and David L. Paulsen in their work entitled, Augustine and the Corporeality of God, write powerfully:

“It has been recognized by at least some scholars that many early Christians, … believed God to be corporeal (materially embodied) or anthropomorphic (humanlike in form), as some biblical narratives portray him. Likewise certain trajectories of Christian mysticism, under the influence of Jewish kabod speculation, maintained that the pinnacle of mystic ascent was the contemplation of the body of God.

All of this stands in stark contrast with that Christian theology which developed, primarily under the influence of Platonism, a nonanthropomorphic and incorporeal conception of God that has come to dominate all subsequent theology and philosophy.”

In Student Minister Dr. Wesley Muhammad’s brilliant work, The Book of God, he profoundly tackles many complex academic subjects relating to the knowledge of God and the history of religions, all with the express purpose of providing a hearty and robust academic vindication of the divine message of the Most Honorable Elijah Muhammad. According to Student Minister Dr. Wesley Muhammad:

“To be clear, the Greek philosophers did not introduce the spook God or mystery God, they introduced the language that the Western world’s scholars use to argue in support of a belief in the mystery God. It was the Greek philosophers who gave definition to the mystery God as it has been so championed in the West and eventually embraced by the East. We should be reminded of the Most Hon. Elijah Muhammad who stated that “There is not a mystery God. The Son of man has searched for that mystery God for trillions of years and was unable to find a mystery God.”

Some of the language referenced by Student Minister Dr. Wesley Muhammad include terms such as: Corporeal (physical, human, material, substantial); Incorporeal (not consisting of matter; without material body or substance); Anthropomorphic (resembling or made to resemble a human form); and Immaterial(not consisting of matter; incorporeal; spiritual).

As already mentioned, the ministry of the Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan during the rebuilding of the Nation of Islam has flowered a season now of Nation of Islam theological vindication. Student Minister Dr. Wesley’s works, the work of the Nation of Islam Research Group, and the growing cadre of professional men and women who are daily joining the ranks of the believers in the Nation of Islam is real tangible proof that the ease with which our critics have mocked us has come to an end.

The God of the Bible and Holy Qur’an

Is a Man

The fact that the Greeks and their philosophy have poisoned the world of religion should not be a real surprise to those familiar with the Most Honorable Elijah Muhammad’s Teachings. The father of the White race, Mr. Yacub, grafted the Caucasian White man from the original Black man using a process of selective breeding, and he did this on the Greek island of Pelan (aka Patmos).

As the quote from the beginning of this article states, the father of the White race, Mr. Yacub incorporated malicious theological speculation as a core component part of his “tricknology” and science of “how to master the Original man.”

The false belief in a “spook God” or “mystery God” has been the spiritual and religious foundation of global White supremacy, imperialism, and colonialism. It has been attributed to the great Kenyan leader Jomo Kenyatta the following saying about how White Europeans began colonizing Africa using their tricknology of religion:

“When the Missionaries arrived, the Africans had the land and the Missionaries had the Bible. They taught how to pray with our eyes closed. When we opened them, they had the land and we had the Bible.”

Moreover, in his classic work The Mis-Education of The Negro, Carter G. Woodson writes:

“In schools of theology Negroes are taught the interpretation of the Bible worked out by those who have justified segregation and winked at the economic debasement of the Negro sometimes almost to the point of starvation.”

There are so many proofs from the domain of “religious scholarship” that prove that the theology of the Nation of Islam is not some made-up concoction aimed at deceiving Black folks, as some of our most virulent critics have suggested. Truth be told, the very Bible that is held as the sacred text of Jews, Christians and used to swear in American elected officials, contains powerful proofs that vindicate Master W. Fard Muhammad, the Most Honorable Elijah Muhammad, and the Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan.

The Mis-Education of The Negro

Scholar Mark S. Smith writing for the Journal of Biblical Literature states in his The Three Bodies of God in the Hebrew Bible the following:

“The humanlike depictions of the divine body in Genesis are associated with famous personages of old. The episodes move from a natural coexistence of the human and the divine (the garden of Eden), to an interpersonal visit of the divine with the human (the Sodom and Gomorrah story), to a problematic interaction between the human and the divine (Jacob wrestling). Adam and Eve live in God’s garden; Abraham walks and converses with God and serves God a meal; and Jacob struggles with God.”

Space does not permit us to go into the Holy Qur’an, the hadith and seerah literature of Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him); that will be the subject of a future article.

The appearance of Allah (God) in the person of Master W. Fard Muhammad and His powerful divinely revealed message to the Most Honorable Elijah Muhammad is being proven true daily.

It was the Most Honorable Elijah Muhammad who recognized, Master W. Fard Muhammad upon first seeing him, as the one whom the whole world had been awaiting for the past 2,000 years. And Master W. Fard Muhammad commissioned the Most Honorable Elijah Muhammad with the assignment of making His divine identity known to the world.

Likewise in the contemporary era, it is the Most Honorable Elijah Muhammad who has anointed the Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan with the messianic work of making the world to know the true divine identity of the Most Honorable Elijah Muhammad. And it is through the awe-inspiring ministry of the Minister that we have learned of and have fallen in love with Master W. Fard Muhammad and the Most Honorable Elijah Muhammad and the truth that they have brought.

We thank Allah for revealing to us this powerful theology, that the scholars’ research is bearing witness to.

It is outrageous that Satan has so thoroughly tricked the men and women of faith into abandoning the belief in God as He is described within the scriptures. Master W. Fard Muhammad’s bold theology liberates us from the bondage of that false belief to unlock our collective as well as our individual potential; our God-given human potential for divine excellence!

All praise is due to Allah (God) who appeared to us in the person of Master W. Fard Muhammad!
